To guard your people, our tools look at their computers and email for threats. This page explains what we collect, who sees it, and how long we keep it.
Who we are
Titan Guards is offered by Tahoe Tech Group, LLC, 770 Mays Blvd #4267, Incline Village, NV 89451. Questions go to support@titanguards.com.
What we collect when you buy
Your name, work email, company name, billing address and how many people you cover. Link, Stripe's checkout service, handles your card. We never see the full card number.
What the protection handles
- Computers
- The app records security events: programs that run, files it flags, the computer's name, its user name and its internet address. It checks files for threats on the computer itself. It copies a file off the computer only when the file looks dangerous and our team needs to look closer.
- Every message is checked for phishing and impersonation before anyone reads it, including its links and attachments. Messages that look dangerous are held back, and our team can open a held message to decide what to do.
- Cloud files
- A separate backup copy of your company's SharePoint, OneDrive or Google Drive files, so they can be restored after ransomware or a mistake. Files on home computers aren't backed up.
- Passwords
- Your people's work email addresses are checked against known data breaches. We never ask for anyone's password.
- Training
- Who finished their training, and who clicked a practice phishing email.
Home computers
The app works the same way at home. It looks for threats in the background, and our team only looks at something on a home computer when the app flags it. We don't look through family photos or banking, and we don't sell or share any of it. Your company agrees to tell each person their home computer is covered, and each person sees a short notice when they install the app.
How we use it
Only to protect your company, investigate threats, keep your account running and answer your questions. We don't sell data, use it for advertising, or build profiles of your people. We tell your company about threats on its computers and accounts. We don't report on what people do with their day.
Who we share it with
The security companies whose tools we use, listed on our vendor list, and Link for payments. Each one gets only what its tool needs. We also share data when the law requires it, and if Titan Guards is ever sold, your data goes with it under these same rules.
Where it's kept
Mostly in the United States. Some security tools store data or have analysts in other countries, including Ireland.
How long we keep it
Security logs are kept for up to 400 days, so you have a record if an insurer, lawyer or investigator asks. Backups are kept while you're subscribed. After you cancel, we delete your data within 90 days, except for what the law requires us to keep, like billing records.
Your choices
Your company can ask for a copy of its data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@titanguards.com. If you're one of the people covered, ask your company first, since it controls the account. If your state gives you privacy rights, email us and we'll honor them.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it to guard you, every account uses multi-factor sign-in, and our vendors' security is audited by outside firms. Our nerdy details page lists those audits.
This website
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Our host and our font provider see your internet address when the page loads, the same as any website.
Children
Titan Guards is a business service and isn't meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we'll email customers at least 30 days before it takes effect.
